Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026.

This privacy policy covers sunimod.com and Sunimod apps that link to it. Find app-specific information below for MX Deck, FieldDesk, A&P Ledger, True Link, Hold a Chicken, BugPop Grove, Shaker Bottle, FlightDeck and Journey Weaver, along with Modern Bird Clock, Whip Cream and Glass Chug. FieldDesk and True Link have complete dedicated privacy notices linked from their summaries. Each app section or dedicated notice identifies the platforms and features it covers, including development or testing builds where stated. Availability is described on the app overview pages; privacy coverage does not mean a public download is available.

App privacy — mobile and desktop

Our apps use information to provide the features you choose, remember preferences and support their operation. Information handled on your device is distinct from information you send to us when you request support, and from information processed by Google Play, Apple, Android, iOS or another service you use. MX Deck’s catalog connections, platform purchase services and backup behavior, and Modern Bird Clock’s online content services and purchase checks, are described in their sections below.

If a feature requests a device permission, you can manage that permission in Android or iOS settings. Declining or withdrawing a permission may limit the related feature. Where a feature uses device sensors, the readings support that feature on your device.

Journey Weaver

Journey Weaver brings trip planning and family collaboration together. Its complete privacy notice explains accounts and synced information, private family access, local document storage, and deletion and export choices.

Imported documents, passport information and raw OCR stay on your device and are not uploaded to Sunimod. Journey Weaver has no advertising or analytics SDKs.

FlightDeck — iPhone and Android

FlightDeck is in development and is not publicly released. This section summarizes its current development build; see the complete FlightDeck privacy notice for details on local records, encrypted backups, provider connections, permissions and deletion.

FlightDeck keeps pilot records on the device and does not upload them to a Sunimod storage server or require an account. Record contents, revision history and imported document files are encrypted locally; internal lookup metadata remains in the local database. You choose where readable exports and password-protected backups go. Weather station queries go directly to the U.S. Aviation Weather Center; Apple or Google handles native store billing. The current app has no advertising or analytics SDK.

FieldDesk — Android, iPhone and iPad

FieldDesk is Sunimod’s offline job-documentation app, currently in release preparation. The complete FieldDesk privacy policy covers its local job records, accepted original photos and annotations, camera and selected files, recovery storage, deletion, optional encrypted archives, operating-system backups, sharing providers and support messages.

FieldDesk has no Sunimod account, advertising, app analytics or automatic cloud synchronization. Jobs and photos stay in app-owned storage unless you choose to export or share them, subject to the operating system’s backup settings. Chosen providers and store services have their own processing. Optional passphrase protection applies to an exported archive, not the app’s live database.

Shaker Bottle — Android

Shaker Bottle is an entertainment app that simulates a virtual shaker bottle. This section covers its Android version, including internal testing builds. See the Shaker Bottle app page for features and current availability. Contact admin@sunimod.com for support or privacy questions.

Motion, preferences and permissions

The app reads device motion sensors while the shaker screen is active to animate the liquid and mixing ball and provide optional sound and vibration. Motion readings are processed on your device, are not uploaded to Sunimod and are not stored as a history of your activity. Motion subscriptions stop when the shaker screen or app is inactive.

Shaker Bottle does not require an app account, display advertising or use advertising trackers. It saves customization choices, volume and vibration preferences, display and motion-effect settings, the safety acknowledgement and purchase-related state in local app storage. It does not send motion readings or saved preferences to a Sunimod server. The app does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, location or health data, or track you in the background. Vibration permission supports optional haptic feedback.

Google Play purchases and billing diagnostics

An optional one-time premium unlock and purchase restoration use Google Play. Google handles checkout, payment details, purchase account records and refunds. The app receives product and transaction information, including purchase state, purchase tokens and signed purchase evidence, to grant or restore eligible access. It verifies Google’s purchase signature on your device and acknowledges valid completed purchases. Purchase evidence and related recovery state are saved locally so verified access can remain available offline and unfinished store operations can be retried. Pending or failed payments do not unlock premium content.

Ownership is refreshed through Google Play when the app starts or resumes and when you restore purchases. Store requests can therefore occur without a new purchase. Shaker Bottle does not request or store your payment-card details or Google account password, and it does not send purchase tokens to a Sunimod purchase-verification server.

Google’s Play Billing component sends billing-operation diagnostics to Google. These can include billing results and errors, app/package and library versions, Android version, device and build information, network and mobile-operator information, language, country and time-zone settings, and temporary billing-client or session identifiers. These records support billing operation, service analysis and troubleshooting. They do not include the app’s motion readings or saved customization choices. Google controls its service data, retention and deletion under Google’s privacy policy.

Local storage, backups and deletion

Local app data remains until it is removed or replaced by the app, you clear Shaker Bottle’s storage in Android settings, or you uninstall the app. Android or your device provider may back up or restore ordinary preferences according to your device and account settings. The premium entitlement record is excluded from Android app backup and device transfer; use Google Play to restore eligible purchases.

Clearing app storage or uninstalling does not cancel or refund a purchase or delete purchase records, diagnostics or existing backups held by Google or another provider. Manage those records through the relevant provider. There is no Shaker Bottle account to delete, and Sunimod cannot remotely erase information that stays only on your device.

Support and external links

Opening a website or support link leaves the app and is subject to the destination’s privacy practices. If you contact Sunimod, we receive the sender details, message and attachments you choose to provide and use them to respond. Support correspondence follows this policy’s retention and contact provisions. You can request access, correction or deletion of information you sent to us by emailing admin@sunimod.com.

Whip Cream and Glass Chug

All apps · Help & support · Privacy questions

Information used on your device

Whip Cream and Glass Chug are designed primarily for use on your device. Their basic functions process app data locally and do not routinely send your personal information or app activity to Sunimod. Preferences and other information needed for an app’s features may be stored in its local Android app storage.

Google Play, Android and external links

Google Play, Android and your device provider may separately process information for app installation, updates, security and diagnostics, depending on the services and settings you use. If an app offers a Google Play purchase, Google handles the transaction and payment details under its own policies; Sunimod does not receive your payment-card details. See Google’s privacy policy.

If you open a website or support link from an app, the destination receives the information needed to handle your visit, such as your IP address and browser information. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send. Visiting sunimod.com is covered by the website section below.

Local storage, backup and deletion

Locally stored app information remains until it is removed or replaced by the app, you clear the app’s data in Android settings, or you uninstall it. Clearing app data resets locally saved preferences and removes the app-owned information stored there.

Depending on the app, Android version, device and your settings, Android or your backup provider may back up or transfer local app data. Existing platform backups and information held by Google Play or another provider are separate from the app’s local storage. Clearing app data or uninstalling an app does not necessarily remove those records. Manage them through the relevant provider’s settings. Sunimod cannot remotely erase data that remains only on your device.

MX Deck — Android and iPhone

MX Deck is a native app published by Sunimod for Android and iPhone (iOS). This section covers both platforms, including development and testing builds. Features, purchase options and distribution can differ by platform or build; see the current access information. The Android package is com.sunimod.mxdeck. Contact admin@sunimod.com with privacy questions.

Your records and settings

MX Deck does not require a Sunimod account, display advertising or use cross-app advertising tracking. Timers and their event history, presets, task kits, saved parts, reference pointers, notes, accomplishments, trips and stops, checklists, settings, drafts, and optional search history are stored in app-owned storage on your device. Photos and documents you select as attachments are copied or accessed for the record you choose. The app does not analyze images to recognize identifiers or request camera, microphone, contacts, or device-location access.

MX Deck does not automatically upload these personal records or attachments to Sunimod and does not provide automatic cloud synchronization. System backups on iPhone are a separate process, explained below. Online catalog requests and the platform’s purchase services are also separate. Search-history controls let you turn off saving future searches and clear saved entries. The app’s Free and Pro retention limits apply.

DLA PUB LOG downloads and offline searches

DLA PUB LOG is the default catalog source. The app downloads public catalog archives from official DLA hosts only after you choose and confirm the download. DLA and its hosting providers receive the archive requests and ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, request time, and request metadata. The downloaded archives are extracted and indexed on your device. Searches of that local catalog do not transmit your search text to DLA.

You can cancel a transfer and manage the offline catalog through Sources. Refreshing downloads prepares a replacement; the current edition remains usable until the replacement validates. These actions are separate from deleting your personal Library records. DLA controls its own service records; refer to the privacy notices on its official download site.

Optional online LogiQuest Lite searches

LogiQuest Lite is a separate online source. Its authorization statement starts unchecked. You must attest that you are authorized to use the provider before MX Deck sends a query. This records your statement and source selection; it does not grant rights or independently verify your authorization. You can uncheck the statement in Sources to revoke the app’s authorization state.

When you submit an authorized online search or open a provider record, MX Deck sends the entered query or record identifier, query type, paging information, and an anonymous provider session token to www.lqlite.com over HTTPS. The provider also receives ordinary connection metadata, such as your IP address. Queries can contain information you type, so avoid entering personal or restricted material. Personal Library notes, photos, and documents are not included in these catalog requests.

The provider uses these requests to return catalog information. It controls its own logging, retention, and any further use under its applicable terms and privacy practices. MX Deck does not set a deletion period for those records, and Sunimod cannot erase them. The app does not silently send a query to a different provider; an offline DLA fallback is a separate choice when that catalog is ready.

Android: Google Play purchases and billing diagnostics

Pro is an optional one-time purchase through Google Play. Google processes purchase and restore requests and payment details. MX Deck does not receive your card or bank-account details. The app receives product and purchase information, including purchase state, a purchase token, and signed purchase evidence. It verifies and acknowledges eligible purchases and stores entitlement evidence in encrypted, device-bound local storage. The Android app does not send purchase evidence to a Sunimod purchase-verification server.

Google’s Play Billing component also sends technical diagnostics to Google. These include billing results and errors, app/package and Android versions, device make and model and related device/build metadata, language and time-zone settings, network information, and temporary client or session identifiers used to associate billing events. The component checks purchase access automatically when the app starts or resumes, so billing requests and diagnostics can occur even when you are not making a purchase. These records support operation and troubleshooting of billing and service analysis. Google manages its processing and retention under Google’s privacy policy.

Use Restore purchases with the appropriate Google Play account to recover eligible Pro access. Deleting local MX Deck data does not cancel, refund, or delete a Google Play purchase.

iPhone: Apple purchase services

Where an Apple Pro product is available for your build and storefront, purchase and restore actions use Apple’s StoreKit service. Apple handles your Apple Account, transaction requests and payment information. MX Deck receives product information and verified transaction or entitlement status to decide whether to enable Pro; it does not receive your payment-card or bank-account details or send Apple purchase evidence to a Sunimod verification server.

The iPhone app requests product information and checks purchase access when it starts, listens for transaction updates, and refreshes access when it returns to the foreground. Store-service activity can therefore occur without a new purchase. Apple’s handling of account, device, purchase and service information is described in App Store & Privacy. Apple and iOS may separately process diagnostics according to your device and service settings.

Deleting MX Deck records does not cancel, refund or erase a store purchase. Restore purchases uses the relevant Google Play or Apple Account. A purchase from one store does not automatically establish entitlement in the other.

Export, sharing, support, and backups

You choose whether to export, share, back up, or restore information. An export can contain the selected records, settings, history, and attachments. Plain exports are not encrypted. The encrypted backup option protects its contents with the password you choose; Sunimod does not hold a recovery password. Review the selected categories, format, and destination before saving or sharing.

Android and iPhone use system file pickers and sharing interfaces to let you choose a destination. If you select another app or a cloud provider, that recipient handles the shared file under its own policy. Copies you export are separate from the app’s storage and are not removed when you delete an in-app record.

Android system backups: MX Deck disables standard Android app backup and declares exclusions for cloud backup and device transfer. Device/vendor behavior can vary; use the app’s explicit backup tools for records you want to preserve.

iPhone system backups: Local MX Deck records and attachments may be included in iCloud or computer backups, depending on your iOS and backup settings. The app does not exclude all of its local data from system backups. This is separate from MX Deck’s manual export tools and from automatic cloud synchronization, which MX Deck does not provide. Manage existing device backups through Apple or your backup provider. See what iCloud backs up.

Support actions prepare a message for your chosen email or sharing app; they do not send it automatically. A support draft may include the app/build, device and operating-system information, your description, and any optional record fields you choose to include. Personal notes, photos, Library files and logs are not automatically attached. When you send a message to Sunimod, we receive the message and contact information you provide.

Alerts, widgets, and device permissions

Android: Notification and exact-alarm access support timer alerts. A foreground service plays a bounded alert at expiration; another foreground service handles a download/import you initiate and shows progress. These services do not upload your personal records.

iPhone: Local notification permission supports timer alerts. On supported iOS versions, optional system alarms require the corresponding permission. Widgets and Live Activities use local timer and display information. The live countdown does not use a Sunimod push-notification server.

Timer titles, deadlines, status and selected preset names can appear on system surfaces such as notifications, alarms, widgets or Live Activities, depending on the feature and your app/device settings. Review MX Deck’s title-privacy options and your device’s notification and lock-screen settings before using personal or sensitive labels. You can manage notification and alarm permissions in device settings.

Security, retention, and deletion

The app’s catalog and billing connections use HTTPS. Local information relies on Android or iOS app isolation, operating-system protections and your device security. Local records are not all separately encrypted by MX Deck; the password-protected backup option is distinct from normal app storage.

Local records remain until you delete or replace them, subject to the app’s retention limits. Items moved to Trash remain recoverable on your device for up to 30 days. After that period, the app permanently removes them during its next cleanup. You can restore or permanently delete them sooner. Trash and its cleanup operate locally and do not upload your records.

The in-app Delete all control clears its supported local personal-data categories and cancels timer registrations. This includes records, attachments, drafts, histories, downloaded catalogs and prepared files owned by the app. If cleanup cannot finish, the app shows a pending state and offers a retry. Deletion does not cancel or refund a purchase, erase a store’s records, or request deletion from Apple, Google, DLA or LogiQuest. Android’s separate purchase-entitlement store is not part of personal-record deletion.

Android’s Clear storage control or removing the app deletes its app-owned local storage. On iPhone, use Delete App to remove the app and its associated local data; Offload App retains documents and data. Files you exported, original selected files, existing system backups, provider records and store purchases remain separate. Manage those copies or records with the destination or provider that holds them.

There is no MX Deck account to delete, and Sunimod cannot remotely erase information that remains only on your device. For information you sent to Sunimod, such as a support email, contact admin@sunimod.com to request access, correction, or deletion. Requests concerning Apple, Google or a catalog provider’s independent records should be directed to that provider.

Modern Bird Clock

All apps · Help & support · Privacy questions

Modern Bird Clock for Android is published by Sunimod. The following details apply specifically to Modern Bird Clock.

Using the app

You do not need a Modern Bird Clock account. The clock, its starter birds and its basic features work without signing in or setting up an online bird catalog. The app does not display advertising. Online content requests and Google Play billing checks can still occur as described below.

The app keeps your clock settings, region, bird assignments, quiet hours, language preferences, downloaded content and a recent playback record on your device. Device language, country and time zone help format the clock and suggest a starter region.

Optional approximate location and playback permissions

You may allow approximate location to help choose a regional starter bird set. The app uses those coordinates on your device and does not send them to Sunimod or its content providers. It does not request precise location. If you decline, it uses country, language and time-zone signals instead. You can change location permission in Android settings.

This permission controls access to your device’s location coordinates. Online services may separately infer approximate location from your IP address, as described below.

Notification and exact-alarm permissions support hourly bird playback. They are separate from location and online catalog access.

Audio and images you import

Pro users may choose an audio file or image through Android’s document picker. The app reads only the file you select, creates local copies for playback or artwork, and keeps its file name and information linking it to your chosen bird. Imported images are converted into local artwork and thumbnails. The app does not request broad access to your media library or upload your imported files to Sunimod or a content provider.

Google Play purchases

Pro is an optional one-time purchase through Google Play. Google processes purchase and restore requests and handles your payment details under its own policies. Modern Bird Clock keeps a local record of Pro access; it does not ask for or store your payment card details.

Google’s billing component also sends technical information and diagnostics to Google, including app and Android versions, device model, language and region settings, billing results and errors, and temporary identifiers used to connect related billing events. These records help operate, improve and troubleshoot billing. The app checks Pro access automatically, so these service requests can occur even when you are not making a purchase. See Google’s privacy policy.

Optional online bird search

Free and Pro users can choose to enter their own xeno-canto API key and search the online recording catalog. Pro is required to import and assign birds beyond the starter selection and to use additional recording options. No catalog key is required for the built-in starter clock.

If you save a key, the app stores it encrypted on your device. The key identifies your xeno-canto account to that service. Catalog searches send the key and your search query over HTTPS; connection checks send the key and a sample bird lookup. When configured, Pro recording enrichment can also send the key and bird lookup requests automatically. You can remove the saved key in Settings or clear the app’s data.

Bird artwork and other service requests

The app requests compatible bird artwork from Wikimedia Commons and PhyloPic. These requests use bird names or catalog identifiers. Artwork lookup can run automatically for starter birds, including for Free users, and when you search or import catalog content. Recording searches and downloads may connect to xeno-canto and the content provider hosting the selected file.

Google Play and the content providers receive the requests needed to supply their services, along with connection information such as your IP address. Modern Bird Clock does not upload your device location coordinates, clock settings or imported personal media as part of those requests. Its Credits and Licenses screen identifies the sources of bird content.

Wikimedia’s published documentation describes logging API and image requests and using IP addresses to infer approximate city or country location. Wikimedia uses this information for purposes including service analytics and security. Its web-request data is generally deleted after 90 days. This period describes Wikimedia’s request data; other records and providers follow their own retention policies. See Wikimedia’s privacy policy, request-data documentation and geolocation documentation.

Android backup and device transfer

Android may back up or transfer app settings, downloaded content, imported audio, converted images, thumbnails and their associated records, depending on your Android version, device and backup settings. Imported files are not excluded from these platform-managed backups. This is separate from the app’s import flow, which does not upload the files.

The app excludes saved catalog keys, local purchase-access records and cached bird catalog metadata from Android backup and device transfer. You can manage platform backups through your Android or backup-provider settings.

Retention and deletion

App-owned settings, content and associated records remain locally until removed or replaced by the app, you clear its data, or you uninstall it. Temporary cached information may expire automatically. Clearing app data removes local settings, saved catalog keys, and the app-owned copies of downloaded or imported files. It leaves the original files selected through Android’s document picker outside the app’s storage.

There is no Modern Bird Clock account to delete. Clearing app data does not erase purchases held by Google Play, information retained by another provider, or existing platform backups. Manage those records through the relevant provider. Restoring a purchase checks your Google Play account again.

Google Play, xeno-canto and PhyloPic handle the retention of their service records under their own policies. The app does not set a deletion schedule for those records.

Hold a Chicken — Android

Hold a Chicken is a family game published by Sunimod, designed for ages 6–8. This section describes the Android app, including internal testing builds, with package name com.sunimod.holdachicken. See the app page for current availability. Contact admin@sunimod.com with privacy questions.

Children, parents and information kept on the device

The game has no Sunimod account, advertising, chat, social feed or gameplay analytics service. It does not ask a child to provide an email address, real name or contact details. Settings, purchase controls and information for adults are behind a parent gate. The gate helps separate adult controls from play; it is not an identity or age-verification service.

Game progress is stored in the app’s private storage on the device. This includes completed levels, stars, collected chickens and rewards, optional chicken nicknames, Coop and nursery choices, in-game portraits and memories, freehand artwork and drafts, settings, interrupted-play information and local play-time/activity totals shown in Parents’ Corner. These local totals support the parent report and play-time limit; the app does not upload them or the player’s game progress to Sunimod.

In-game portraits are illustrated pictures of chickens. Art Time also lets players draw and decorate their own pictures; freehand artwork can contain identifying information if someone adds it. The app does not use the camera, microphone, contacts or device location. It does not request notification access. Optional vibration supports touch feedback. English read-along uses a compatible installed offline text-to-speech voice; the app does not record speech or send game text to a Sunimod speech service.

Sharing artwork and saving to the device Gallery

Saving a drawing in the game keeps an editable copy in private app storage. Sharing a picture or saving a separate copy to the device’s Gallery requires the parent gate by default. A grown-up can turn off Require parent gate for sharing and photo saves in Parents’ Corner so their child can use both actions directly. Turning off Allow sharing and photo saves disables both actions. Settings and purchases always remain behind the parent gate. Nothing is exported automatically: each export requires a picture preview and an explicit sharing or Gallery-save action.

Share picture opens Android’s sharing panel with one PNG image. You choose the destination app or service; the game does not choose a recipient or upload the artwork to Sunimod. The selected app receives the picture under its own privacy policy and controls any further delivery, upload, retention or deletion. Returning to the game does not confirm that a picture was delivered.

Save to Gallery adds a separate PNG to the device’s picture library in Pictures/Hold a Chicken. Other apps may be able to access that copy, and a photo or backup service may upload it according to your device and service settings. Android 7–9 requests storage-write permission for this action; Android 10 and newer do not need a storage permission prompt to add the picture. The game does not browse existing device photos. Denying the requested permission leaves the editable drawing in the game.

Sharing creates temporary PNG files in private app storage so a selected app can finish reading them. Files older than 24 hours are removed on the next app cleanup; they can remain longer if the app is not used. These temporary files are separate from copies already saved to Gallery or received by another app.

Google Play purchases and technical diagnostics

Pro is an optional one-time Google Play purchase initiated from Parents’ Corner. Google processes the transaction, payment details and store-account information under its own policies. Hold a Chicken does not receive payment-card or bank-account details. The app receives product and purchase information, including purchase state, a purchase token and signed purchase evidence, to verify and acknowledge eligible purchases. It stores the resulting Pro-access status locally. Purchase verification does not send a player’s progress or purchase evidence to a Sunimod server.

The app connects to Google Play to obtain product information and check purchase access when it starts, and when an adult uses the store controls. Google’s Play Billing component also sends technical billing diagnostics to Google. These can include billing results and errors, app and Android versions, device and network information, and temporary identifiers associated with billing events. Google also receives connection information needed to handle these requests, such as an IP address. This processing supports billing operation, troubleshooting and service analysis; it is separate from the game’s local progress and parent report.

Store requests and billing diagnostics can occur without a new purchase and before Parents’ Corner is opened. The parent gate does not disable those background store operations. Free play remains usable without a store connection. Google manages its processing and retention under Google’s privacy policy; Android, Google Play and device providers may separately process installation, security and system diagnostics according to their services and your settings.

Storage, security, retention and deletion

The game keeps local save and recovery copies to protect progress from interrupted writes. Local data relies on Android’s app isolation and your device security; the game does not separately encrypt every save. Store-service network connections use encrypted transport. Hold a Chicken does not provide an account, cloud synchronization or its own cloud backup. Its Android configuration disables standard app backup; device-manufacturer transfer behavior can vary.

In Parents’ Corner, Reset game progress starts a fresh flock and clears active game progress, memories, artwork, drafts and temporary sharing pictures while retaining parent settings and saved purchase access. The separate artwork-gallery clearing control removes editable artwork, drafts and temporary sharing pictures while keeping the flock. To remove all app-owned private files, including any preserved recovery files, use Android’s Clear storage control or uninstall the app. Local records otherwise remain until replaced or removed. There is no Sunimod game account to delete, and Sunimod cannot remotely erase information held only on your device.

Clearing the game’s gallery, resetting progress, clearing app storage or uninstalling the game does not delete copies already saved to the device Gallery, sent to another app or retained by a photo or backup service. Remove those copies through the relevant Gallery, recipient app or service. Disabling future sharing or photo saves does not recall earlier copies.

Resetting or removing the game does not cancel, refund or delete a Google Play purchase or Google’s service records. Use Restore purchases with the relevant Google Play account to recover eligible access. Manage any platform backups or independent provider records with that provider.

Support and parent requests

Parents and guardians can email admin@sunimod.com for help or to request access, correction or deletion of information they sent to Sunimod. We receive the contact details and message content you choose to send and use them to respond. Please identify Hold a Chicken and avoid sending a child’s personal details, passwords or payment information. Support correspondence follows the retention and contact provisions below. Questions about Google’s independently held records should be directed to Google.

A&P Ledger — Android and iPhone

Updated October 24, 2026. This section describes A&P Ledger by Sunimod LLC, including its development and testing builds for Android and iPhone. The app is in development; see the product page for current status. It is intended for aircraft mechanics and professional recordkeeping, not directed to children.

Records kept on your device

Your business profile, customers, aircraft, work orders, labor and work records, tools, parts, references, qualification and experience evidence, quotes, invoices, payments, record history and attachments are stored in the app on your device. These entries can contain personal or business information, such as customer contact details and certificate numbers. Only enter information you are entitled to hold.

A&P Ledger does not create a Sunimod account, operate a Sunimod record server, automatically upload your collection, display advertising, or send app analytics events to Sunimod. It does not provide automatic cloud synchronization. Store services, the operating system, and sharing destinations are separate, as described below.

Camera, photos, files and device authentication

When you choose to add a photo or file, the app uses the camera, system photo picker or document picker and keeps a local copy of the original selected file. Original bytes and metadata are preserved. Photos may contain location, camera or other embedded information; review originals before sharing them. Pending capture-recovery items may be retained locally until you attach or discard them. You can manage camera and other applicable permissions in your device settings; declining permission limits the related feature.

If you enable app lock, your device checks its supported biometrics or device credentials. The app does not receive or store your face, fingerprint, device PIN or device password. App lock controls access through the interface; it is not separate encryption of the record database. Local records rely on operating-system app isolation, device storage protections and your device security.

PDFs, exports, sharing and printing

PDF and CSV exports are prepared locally. When you share an invoice, export, original attachment or backup, you choose the recipient app, printer, file provider or storage destination through the system interface. Plain PDFs, CSVs and shared originals are not password-encrypted by A&P Ledger. The receiving provider handles the data under its own policy and may send it over a network. Sunimod does not run an invoice-email relay or process your customers’ card payments. Opening a share sheet does not confirm delivery.

Encrypted backups and device changes

You can create a password-encrypted backup containing the saved record database and original attachments. The password is used on the device, is not sent to Sunimod, and is not saved by the app. Sunimod cannot recover a forgotten password. You choose where to save the backup and control deletion of exported copies. Pending photo-recovery items are not included: resolve them before a device change or share their originals separately.

Restore validates and replaces the local collection after confirmation; it does not merge independently edited collections or transfer a subscription. App lock and store entitlement are device-local and separate from the portable record backup. Avoid using two independent copies of a collection as simultaneous invoice issuers.

The app requests exclusion of its private record directory from automatic operating-system cloud backup and Android device transfer. Operating-system and manufacturer behavior can vary. Existing provider backups are controlled separately by their providers. Save and verify your own encrypted backups before changing or erasing a device. Losing the phone, clearing app storage or deleting the app can permanently remove records without a usable backup. On iPhone, Offload App retains app documents and data; Delete App removes the app and its associated local data.

Optional subscriptions and platform services

Where a monthly Pro offer is available, Apple or Google handles the store account, purchase, renewal, cancellation, refund and payment information. A&P Ledger receives product, transaction and entitlement information to decide whether to enable Pro. Native billing components can hold purchase evidence locally; it is excluded from the portable record backup. The app does not send purchase evidence to a Sunimod verification server or use a third-party subscription-management service. Sunimod does not receive payment-card details through the app.

The app requests store information and checks access at startup, on return to the foreground, periodically while active, and when you use purchase or restore controls. Store activity can occur without a new purchase. Google Play Billing may send Google technical diagnostics such as billing results and errors, app and library versions, device/build and network information, language or region settings and temporary identifiers used to associate billing events. Apple’s store services process account, transaction, device and service information. These providers manage their records under Google’s privacy policy and App Store & Privacy. The operating system and stores may also process installation, security and diagnostic information according to your platform settings.

Deleting app records does not cancel a subscription or erase store records. Restore purchases uses the appropriate platform store account. Apple and Google purchases are separate; moving an encrypted backup does not grant paid access.

Retention, deletion and your choices

Local records remain until you delete or replace them or remove app data. Deleting a record removes its local revision history and attachments, subject to relationship and financial-record constraints. Issued financial documents preserve their issued history and are voided rather than silently overwritten. Copies already exported, backed up or shared, the original files selected from another location, and provider or store records are not deleted by deleting an in-app record. Manage those copies with the destination or provider holding them.

There is no Sunimod app account to delete, and Sunimod cannot remotely recover or erase records kept only on your device. You can access and export your local records through the app; existing-record access, exports and encrypted backups remain available without Pro.

Support, external links and website privacy

If you open a website or external reference, the destination receives normal connection information, such as your IP address and browser details. Visiting sunimod.com is covered by the website privacy section, separately from the app’s local recordkeeping.

For app support or requests about information you sent to Sunimod, email admin@sunimod.com or use the contact page. We receive the contact details and content you choose to send and use them to respond. Please identify A&P Ledger and avoid sending passwords, payment details or unnecessary customer and certificate records. Support correspondence follows this policy’s retention and choices provisions. Requests concerning records held independently by Apple, Google or a sharing provider should be directed to that provider.

BugPop Grove

Current coverage: Available to approved Android testers through Google Play internal testing.

Ordinary gameplay and device data

BugPop Grove is designed for offline play and has no Sunimod account. Local profiles and display names, preferences, discoveries, progress, records, achievements, replay recordings, gardens, saved scenes and Party Cup progress are stored on your device. The game does not upload these records to Sunimod or use advertising or separate gameplay analytics services. Parents can delete profiles or reset supported gameplay data in Parent settings.

Parents may explicitly export a gameplay backup or share a clean garden postcard through the system chooser. Backups include local display names, avatars, progress, scenes, retained replays and play preferences. They exclude parent PIN material, parental policy, session usage and purchase evidence. Clean postcards contain garden artwork without profile names or scores. The parent chooses the destination, which handles the file under its own policies. Copies already exported or shared are not erased by an in-app reset.

The Android app disables standard app cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. On iPhone, operating-system backups may include app data according to device and backup settings.

The game does not ask children to submit personal information to Sunimod. Parents should handle purchases, support requests and external links. A parent may choose a local display name; avoid sensitive information in it.

Purchases and billing diagnostics

Full Grove is an optional permanent unlock. Google Play handles Android payments; BugPop Grove does not receive your card or bank-account details. The app receives purchase information, including purchase state, token and signed purchase evidence. It verifies Google’s signature locally and acknowledges eligible purchases through Google Play. There is no Sunimod purchase-verification server, and purchase proofs are not sent to Sunimod.

Purchase evidence, pending-payment state and acknowledgement jobs are kept in protected local storage to retain verified offline access and retry incomplete store operations. These records are separate from gameplay backups and resets. Local signature verification establishes that a purchase record was signed by Google; it does not by itself establish whether a purchase was subsequently refunded.

Store requests can occur when the app starts or resumes to recover existing ownership, as well as when a parent checks the price, buys or restores access. Google’s Play Billing component also sends technical diagnostics to Google. These include billing API results and errors, short exception descriptions, app/package and library versions, Android and device/build information, language and country settings, SIM/network information, timestamps and temporary client identifiers used to connect related billing events. These identifiers are generated for a billing-client instance; they are not advertising IDs or hardware serial numbers. Billing diagnostics support service analysis, performance improvements and troubleshooting. They can occur without a new purchase, and the app does not provide a separate switch to disable them. Billing diagnostic connections use HTTPS. Google controls its processing and retention under Google’s privacy policy. Sunimod does not specify a deletion period for Google’s records or claim that deleting local gameplay erases them. Where an iPhone build offers purchases, Apple processes them through its native store services. Purchase recovery and local transaction records are separate from gameplay exports. Apple’s services and device backups follow the user’s platform settings and Apple’s policies.

Review access

Builds with Review access allow a private Sunimod review code to grant complimentary Full Grove access without an account or purchase. The app verifies and stores the code in protected local storage, separate from purchase records and gameplay backups. Removing review access in Parent settings removes that local grant and preserves purchases and progress. Review-code verification does not send information to a server.

Website contact is separate

If you contact Sunimod about the app, the information you choose to provide is handled through Sunimod’s website contact process and the practices described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy. It is not collected by the game during ordinary play.

Technical information and browser storage

Our website and hosting services process technical request information, such as your IP address, requested page, request time, browser information and referring page when supplied. We use this information to deliver the website, maintain security, troubleshoot problems and understand website use.

Cookies and similar browser storage can support website functions, security and preferences. The website’s light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser’s local storage. You can clear or restrict cookies and site storage through your browser settings; doing so may reset preferences or affect some features.

Third-party services and links

Website features such as externally supplied fonts and spam protection can connect to their providers. Those providers receive connection information needed to supply their services and may process it under their own privacy policies. Google services are subject to Google’s privacy policy.

Links to other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. This policy describes Sunimod’s handling of information; it does not set the data practices of independently operated websites, app stores or content providers.

Sharing and protecting information

We do not sell your personal information. Information you provide to us may be handled by service providers that help us operate the website, deliver email, provide support or perform services you request. We limit this use to those purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or the security of our services.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we handle. The website uses HTTPS. App information stored locally relies on Android or iOS app-storage protections and your device’s security settings; platform-specific backup and deletion details are described above. Modern Bird Clock’s encrypted key storage and online requests are described above. Please do not send passwords, API keys, payment-card details or other secrets in support messages or website forms.

Retention and your choices

Information stored locally by an app follows the deletion and backup details in that app’s section above. For information you send to us, we retain support correspondence and business records for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, provide requested services, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Technical records and backups may be retained as needed for security, troubleshooting and recovery, then deleted or replaced through our retention processes.

You can contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information you have provided to us. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns your information. Some records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business reasons. Requests about information held independently by Apple, Google or another provider should be directed to that provider.

Children’s privacy

Our apps do not ask children to send personal information to Sunimod. Hold a Chicken is designed for ages 6–8 and keeps its game progress and parent report on the device; Google Play store operations and billing diagnostics are described in its section above. Parents and guardians should handle support messages and purchase decisions. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Sunimod, please contact us so we can review the matter and delete it as appropriate. Each app’s store listing provides its age rating; this policy does not change that rating.
